THE London Evening Standard has unveiled its third edition of The 1000; an annual publication celebrating the 1000 people most responsible for shaping and changing London. As always, the fashion industry's key players figure prominently, with Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman ranking within the city's most influential figures.
Also ranking highly in the list are designers Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Sir Paul Smith and Burberry's Christopher Bailey. New additions this year include Tom Chapman, who founded Matches with his wife over 20 years ago; Christopher Kane; Harvey Nichols buying director Averyl Oates; shoe designer and VOGUE.COM blogger Rupert Sanderson; designer Erdem Moralioglu; new Halston helmer Marios Schwab - as well as models Lily Donaldson and Naomi Campbell.
